The exhibition in the visitor center at the war cemetery in Ysselsteyn, which opened in 2021, is anything but boring.
A multimedia exhibition tells the story of the war cemetery and offers visitors the opportunity to discover the stories behind the crosses for themselves. Various data visualizations provide an impressive insight into the special features of this cemetery and thus a unique view of the German side of the Second World War in the Netherlands. In addition, our extensive database can be searched using various filters to discover the deceased and their life stories. Photos, documents and other personal items are linked to these life stories.
The exhibition can be visited free of charge 7 days a week from 9:00 to 17:00.
